The Project:

444Video had an upcoming industry event where they wanted to promote their project for Comux UK - the UK's local TV multiplex, delivering 34 local TV services and 4 national TV streams from its Birmingham Network Operations Centre. This involved translating a deeply technical broadcast migration into a clear business story that both technical and commercial audiences could understand.

Activity:

I interviewed the team at 444Video to understand their business in detail, their target audience, and the results they would like to achieve. I then interviewed the CEO of Comux UK over Zoom to find out more about the project from his perspective and the results. This interview lasted 30 minutes and involved a set of pre-planned questions about the service provided by 44Video. Each interview was held over Zoom and recorded so I could refer back to it while writing the case study.

From these interviews, I produced the draft case study in MS Word and pull quotes for 444Video. I submitted the draft for review within a week of the second interview. This was accepted with just one word change.

The Result:

444Video were able to take the Word document and upload it to their website, in their design, ready for the trade show on time.
